*Melvin of Walnut Run Farm is selling turkeys* for Thanksgiving which can
be picked up at VIPARC on the date and time above.



You should order a turkey *now*.  To do so you need to (1) speak with
Melvin at one of the regular remaining markets *or* (2) call him at
610-273-1059, *or* (3) email him at walnutrun at sle.email with your choice(s)
from the size chart below.



*Turkeys*:

12-15 lbs

15-18 lbs

18-21 lbs

21-25 lbs



*There is a $20 down payment for a turkey order.*(1) If you are placing an
order at one of the regular markets, you will need to make a $20 down
payment at that time.  (2) If you are calling Melvin with an order, he can
process your credit card then.  (3) If you are emailing an order, you will
need to pay the $20 down payment at the market on the following Saturday or
the order will not be processed.



Melvin is also selling organic Pumpkin Pies.  The crust consists of a
mixture of organic wheat flour, pastured lard, water, eggs, salt, and
baking powder.  The filling is made from grass-fed Jersey milk, pastured
eggs, maple syrup, organic pumpkin puree, organic sprouted spelt flour,
grass-fed Jersey butter, organic cinnamon, and Real Salt.



*Pies*:

            9” pie is $9.75 each

            8” pie is $7.50 each

            6” pie is $5.00 each

1. How much are they?

$4.49/lb - no additional costs for processing, delivery, etc.



2. How much do they weigh?

12-25 pounds.  You can order your desired weight range.



3. How are they raised?

They are pasture-raised in portable shelters on green grass, moved daily to
fresh grass.  They are supplemented with chemical-free, GMO-free grain.



4. Will I get the weight I order?

A turkey will be selected for you as close to your preferred weight as
possible.  The earlier you order, the better your chance of getting the
size you requested.



5. What will I receive?

A freshly-dressed, fully-chilled, never-frozen whole turkey in a shrink bag
ready for your oven; neck and giblets (heart, liver, gizzard) included.
