INFORMATION BELOW  AND SHARING OR POSTING THE ATTACHED FLYER WITH YOUR
COMMUNITY! 

Please join me for my 113th Town Hall virtually this Saturday, January
22nd at 10:00 a.m. via Zoom or Facebook Live. 

As minority chair of the House Children & Youth Committee, I am hosting
a discussion on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), Trauma Informed
Care, and Trauma Informed Policy. We are surrounded by friends,
neighbors and family who have experienced ACES and even though these
events occurred during childhood there is a high possibility that it
continues to impact them today unless they have had the opportunity and
support to heal. 

Trauma that has been experienced previously is being exacerbated by
COVID and this is also impacting those of us who may not have an ACEs
history.  Dan Jurman, DMin and Paul DiLorenzo, ACSW, MLSP will join me
to inform us about ACEs, trauma, its impact on us and the child welfare
system and how we can respond and support ourselves, friends and family.


The meeting will be held over Zoom and livestreamed to my Facebook page

login information will be sent.
