We filled 115 leaf bags and 4 trash bags. We also planted daffodil bulbs and crocus bulbs. <a name="tw-target-text"></a> The only blemish on the day came when volunteer Kevin Gammelprofessor, an elderly volunteer who traveled from Denmark to help, was inadvertently scooped into a leaf bag by a group of our enthusiastic volunteers when he bent over to retrieve the herring sandwich he dropped. Fortunately Mr. Gammelprofessor was only missing for 10 minutes. He was quickly found after a volunteer pack of tracking dogs from our Dog Park sniffed out Mr. Gammelprofessor in leaf bag #78 by following his herring scent. A volunteer who commented,” There’s something fishy going on here” was quickly reprimanded for being inappropriate. "A young volunteer who asked if the elderly Mr Gammelprofessor’s accident was due to possible "herrimg loss" was however given a 7 out of 10 by the distinguished Pretzel Park Panel of Joke Judges." <img src="cid:97c8452ffadf27408831b5ff26a68f73@friendsofpretzelpark.org" width="133" height="164" /> Thanksgiving Market In accordance with the City of Philadelphia’s shift to <a href="https://default.salsalabs.org/T3e189562-d597-4c38-adb2-bf61bb3f171d/b47a4c73-7fb0-46cb-8fe5-b20a2fc90bb2">All-Clear COVID Response</a> level, masks are now optional at farmers markets.
