There are always many questions and sometimes raised eyebrows when we discuss the issues and challenges surrounding balancing the budget, and this year will be no different. With over a $5 billion surplus one would think the discussion would be straightforward; alas, the general assembly has chosen to include abortion politics in the state budget.  We will also discuss the U.S. Supreme Court’s June 24th decision regarding Roe v. Wade and its impact on abortion care in Pennsylvania.
