Republicans challenged that ruling at the United States Supreme Court. The United States Supreme Court declined to hear the case so the policy stands. However, the United States Supreme Court left the door open to post election challenges. As a result, ballots received after the polls close will be segregated and may be subject to challenge later.</div> <div class="pre" style="margin: 0; padding: 0; font-family: monospace"> <div class="pre" style="margin: 0; padding: 0; font-family: monospace"> </div> <div class="pre" style="margin: 0; padding: 0; font-family: monospace">Therefore, given the delays at the post office, and the uncertainty created by the United States Supreme Court, <strong>the word on the street is it's too late to mail in your mail in ballots.
