STATEWIDE 911 OUTAGE – PUBLIC SAFETY ADVISORY
The Philadelphia Police Department is aware of a statewide, intermittent 911 outage currently affecting the entire Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. This issue may impact the ability of some residents to reach emergency services through the traditional 911 system.
We urge the public to continue attempting to call 911 in the event of an emergency, as some calls are still successfully going through. Only call 911 for actual emergencies.
If you are unable to reach 911, please call your local Philadelphia Police District directly.
IMPORTANT: These district phone lines should only be used for true emergencies during this outage. Do not use these lines for routine matters or general business inquiries. We must keep these lines open for life-threatening situations.
