Hello: 

I am hosting an important special Town Hall this evening at 7 P.m. on
preliminary redistricting maps for House state and congressional
districts which have been released by the Legislative Reapportionment
Commission.  

Thank you for sharing the information with your members and I look
forward to seeing you this evening to discuss how the maps may impact
the current 194th Legislative District  and how your comments may be
offered to the commission for consideration.  

DELISSIO TO HOLD SPECIAL TOWN HALL JAN. 4 ON PRELIMINARY REDISTRICTING
MAPS

PHILADELPHIA, DEC. 22 – State Rep. Pamela A. DeLissio will hold a
special virtual town hall meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4 to discuss
the preliminary redistricting maps recently released by the Legislative
Reapportionment Commission. 

"We will discuss the preliminary redistricting maps and how they impact
the current 194th Legislative District, as well as other districts in
the commonwealth," DeLissio said.  

The meeting will be held over Zoom and Facebook Live [1]. To participate
through Zoom, those interested must register by 3 p.m. January 4 using
this link [2] (https://bit.ly/3qlPsNO [3]) and registration and login
information will be sent.  

Residents may also email RepDeLissio at pahouse.net and a registration link
will be sent. Once someone is registered, Zoom login information will be
sent.   

"I have discussed redistricting reform at 51 of my 112 town hall
meetings and this topic was the main focus at 12 of those town halls,"
said DeLissio, D-Montgomery/Phila. "Redistricting impacts policy and
outcomes. If you are concerned about any state or federal policy
initiative from the environment to taxes to student debt to fair funding
for basic education, then you have no choice but to be concerned about
how redistricting occurs in our state." 

The currently drawn preliminary maps can be viewed at
https://www.redistricting.state.pa.us/maps/ [4]. Comments can be
submitted at https://www.redistricting.state.pa.us/comment/ [5]. 

Comments can be offered to the commission for consideration for 30 days
upon the date of the release of the preliminary maps (Dec. 16, 2021)
allowing residents until Jan. 18, 2022, to offer comments.
