the Fair Districts PA photo sessions.

Folks may remember Fair Districts PA (https://www.fairdistrictspa.com/)
from our April 2018 meeting.  At the time the PA Supreme Court had just
forced the redrawing of boundaries from 2011. That, however, was just a
temporary fix.  Redistricting will be happening soon based on the 2020
Census.

From our friends at Fair District PA,

This coming week, Fair Districts PA is organizing group photo sessions in
communities across Philadelphia, including Manayunk and Roxborough. The
goal: to demonstrate grassroots support for legislative redistricting
transparency and reform. All these Philly photos will be incorporated into
a video montage to be released on the National Day of Action on April 29.

*You can help* just by showing up to designated Manayunk and/or Roxborough
locations to be in the photo! The more concerned citizens appearing in the
pictures, the stronger the “Manayunk Wants Fair Districts” and “Roxborough
Wants Fair Districts” messages.

Depending on weather and people’s availability this coming week, we are
targeting Tuesday, April 20th  (late afternoon ~ 4:00 p.m.) for
picture-taking at convenient and iconic local spots.
