Yes I know people are getting pummeled with voting information but I
hope this consolidates a lot of information and gives you the tools to
get answers to further questions. 

VOTING RESOURCES -- PLACES TO GO FOR MORE INFORMATION AND HELP 

 	* ELECTION SATELLITE OFFICE AT ROXBOROUGH HIGH SCHOOL -- Pretty much
anything you need done, from registering, getting mail-in ballots,
dropping off mail-in ballots, same day voting (with a paper ballot) and
replacing spoiled mail-in ballots.  More info below.
 	* STATE REPRESENTATIVE PAM DELISSIO -- Representative DeLissio's
office can help you with any voting related matters. On the Web [1];
Email RepDeLissio at pahouse.net; or good old 215-482-8726
 	* PA Department of State Voting Information [2] -- Official site for
registering, mail-in ballots and more.
 	* Votes PA [3] -- An official PA Government Site that packages
everything about voting in a simple and clear way. 
 	* Philadelphia Votes [4] -- Voting information from Office of the
Philadelphia City Commissioners. A lot of information but you might have
to dig a little for it.
 	* Vote.org [5] -- A national site with voting information from
registering to polling places to mail-in ballots.  Easy to access.  You
can also sign up for reminders.

VOTER REGISTRATION 

 	* A direct link to voter registration [6].  You can get there from the
various resource links, but here's the short-cut. THE DEADLINE FOR
REGISTRATION IS OCTOBER 19, 2020.
 	* You can also register at a Satellite Office such as Roxborough High
School.

POLLING PLACES / WHERE AM I VOTING 

	* Polling Place Information [7] -- NOTE! Due to Covid-19 polling places
have been moved around and consolidated in some cases.  They may have
changed since the Primaries in June. If you are not voting by mail,
please make sure you know where you are voting!

MAIL-IN BALLOTS 

 	* Sign up for a mail-in ballot [8] -- This is the official PA site. 
You can also get there from the resources or you can sign up in person
at the Roxborough High School Satellite Office.

	* 

> Your completed application must be received in the county office
> by 5:00 PM on 10/27/2020. The deadline to return your voted
> absentee or mail-in ballot is 8:00 PM on 11/03/2020
 	* When you get your ballot, return it by mail or drop it off at a
Satellite Office like Roxborough High School.  If you drop your ballot
in the mail, make sure to leave plenty of time.  The ballot must be
received (not just postmarked) by 8:00 PM on 11/03/2020.
 	* Check your mail-in ballot status [9].

SATELLITE OFFICES 

 	* There are Satellite offices throughout the city.  Our local one is
at Roxborough High School.
 	* There may be additional Satellite offices [10]. Check the link for
more information.

FRIDAY-SUNDAY FROM 9:30AM TO 4:30PM

 	* Register to vote
 	* Drop off mail-in ballots
 	* Update or change your registration
 	* Request, receive and vote on a paper ballot.  Note! This is not the
same as voting at the polls. You will be filling out a paper ballot that
will be processed with all the mail-in ballots after the polls close.
 	* Get spoiled mail-in ballots replaces.  If you've made a mistake on
your mail-in ballot, do not try to fix it.  Get a new ballot.  See the
instructions that came with your mail-in ballot.

HOW TO VOTE WITH YOUR MAIL-IN BALLOT 

This election's PA mail-in ballot comes with five parts. The images are
from an actual ballot package. 

 	* Instructions
 	* Plain English descriptions of the ballot questions
 	* The Ballot
 	* The Secrecy Envelope (very important)
 	* The mailing envelope

Doing some of this wrong can mean your vote won't count.  Read carefully
and follow the instructions that came with your ballot. 

Here is our summary of some of the most important points that we believe
is consistent with the official instructions. 

Carefully fill out the ballot and place it in the Secrecy Envelope. 
This is all described in the instructions that come with the ballot. 
You do not sign the ballot. 

If you make a mistake on your ballot, don't try to correct it.  Get the
ballot replaced.  Follow point 3. in the Official Instructions, that
came with your ballot, for dealing with mistakes.  It is our
understanding that you can also get ballots replaced at a Satellite
Office. 

Put the Secrecy Envelope in the mailing envelope.
The mailing envelope is the one you Sign and Date. 

Drop the mailing envelope in the mail or take it to the a Satellite
Office like Roxborough High School.

IF YOU SIMPLY PUT YOUR BALLOT IN THE MAILING ENVELOPE, AND NOT IN THE
SECRECY ENVELOPE, IT WILL HAVE TO BE THROWN OUT.  THIS IS KNOW AS A
NAKED BALLOT. 
There have been several news stories and articles about this recently. 

It is not known how many June Primary ballots were not counted because
they were "naked". In the past, with absentee ballots, numbers have been
as high as several percent. 

If you have any doubts check with any of the resources above, and the
official flyers below, about how to properly seal and send your ballot. 
We want every vote to count.
