Subject: New Voting Machine Demo Thursday July 11


MNC and North Light Community Center will be hosting hands-on demonstrations of Philadelphia's new voting machines which will be used in the November 5 election.

Where: North Light Community Center, 175 Green Lane, 19127 (in the big gym)
When: Thursday, July 11, 6:30PM to 8:30PM

There is limited parking in North Light's parking lot on Carson Street.

This you chance to see and get familiar with the new machines.

- Similar in size to the old machines.

- Large touch screen showing the entire ballot

- You votes are printed on paper for your review.

- The paper ballot is then scanned to record your vote.

- The paper ballot will be the official record of vote and will be used for recounts and audit.

Come on down.  I've heard world peace, climate change, over-development and parking are on the ballot :)
