Solarize Philly
Solarize Philly reopens to help all Philadelphians go solar at home!
The Philadelphia Energy Authority (PEA) has reopened Solarize Philly- a
group buying program to make the process of installing solar as easy and
affordable as possible. All homeowners in Philadelphia can sign up for
Solarize Philly. One of the pre-approved solar installers will complete
a free solar assessment of your home, and you will have access to
pricing discounts. PEA is offering a special financing option to 45
low- and moderate income households during this phase to advance
equitable access to clean energy. See if you qualify at
<http://www.solarizephilly.org>.
Solarize Philly also supports job training programs for high school
students who want to start careers in the green economy. In 2017, nearly
200 Philadelphia homeowners installed solar with Solarize Philly and PEA
trained 18 students in solar installation. The Manayunk Neighborhood
Council has invited PEA to join us at our next meeting.
Join us on June 6th or get in touch to learn about newly available
options. Bring your PECO bill to fast-track your application. You can
learn more and sign up now at www.solarizephilly.org
<http://www.solarizephilly.org>!
Solarize Philly is led by the Philadelphia Energy Authority (PEA), an
independent municipal authority working to advance energy affordability
and sustainability for the city. PEA is running the Philadelphia Energy
Campaign, a $1 billion initiative to advance clean energy and energy
efficiency to create 10,000 jobs.
